It happens. Perhaps more so when using an expanded schedule with a greater number of races. In my previous season, a filly won the Kentucky Oaks and came back the next day to win the Derby on her way to Horse of the Year honors. Talk about an Amazon!

Just scooped the £120,000 first prize in the Lancashire Chase at Haydock with my top 9yo stallion. Two of the horses he beat had run 30 and 25 minutes earlier, one in a Grade 2 race at the same course, pushing my filly down to 5th. The other at Ascot, where it won. Got to laugh haven't you !!!

I play with no mods.

In their second races of the day, one fell at the eighth and got injured, and the other finished fifth.

Two more iron-forged equines: 3 yr old colt Tarvini won six races in 31 days and his 3 yr old competitor Prince Siegfried six in just 28 days. Tarvini would've tallied 7 wins, but Prince Siegfried vanquished him in one of his six victories. I typically give my horses 3 to 5 weeks between starts.
