Jump horses
Hi I am currently playing my first jump save and I am curious to know what is the peak age of a jump horse? And is the distance when chasing further than the same horse over hurdles?

Re: Jump horses
Hi Dylan,
Welcome to the forum.
It really depends on the horse and it's traits for what is the best age you jumper peaks at.
From 2m-2m7f it can be 6,7,8yo From 3m-4m4f they can peak later 8,9,10yo
Not sure i understand your last question. Chase races are longer than hurdle races.

Re: Jump horses
As Hemz says.
Also don't be too quick judging jumpers. A decent 5yo can still go on to much better things later on if you persevere. The hidden stats can be used to identify horses that maybe mature later. Similarly to identify horses that may take longer distances, and those that will probably deteriorate more quickly as they age. All trial and error and different with every horse. And not many successful hurdlers convert to successful chasers in my experience as essentially you are looking at a different type of horse.
