It would be nice if the weight allowance was reflected somewhere, after you select your apprentice on the entry the weight should change and a *Thompson signifying Thompson is an apprentice. Wishful thinking, minor details...
I did forget about it being listed as Thompson(5) but the actual weight listed doesnt change...

The weight listed doesn't change on the race card, in theory, the saddle bag will be loaded with, 5lb or whatever the allowance is, less weight so 10-07 becomes 10-02 but the racecard entry stays unaltered. I'm not sure whether the algorithm to calculate the race outcome actually takes this in to consideration.
