Hi,

Does anybody know why the maximum number of Group 1/2/3 winners in SO7 is set at a maximum of 255?

If I go to Trainers-> Click my Trainer Name -> in top left corner box it shows Group Wins (1/2/3): 255/255/255

If I win more Group races these totals do not increase?

Anybody else experiencing this too?

It's a computer programming kind of thing.

Without getting too technical, when you specify a place where you store a number in a computer program you can tell the computer to make the number a specific size.

Computers work in binary which is based on the number 2. So the programmer in SO7 told the computer that the biggest number would be in the range from 0-255 which is 2 to the power 8, ( 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2 = 256 )

Probably the computer programmer in SO7 thought 255 was a big enough number to suit most people playing the game. Some times you limit the number to a specific size because you only have space on the screen for that number. I don't know enough about the programming in SO7 but when I worked as a programmer it was a very easy task to make the space (variable) where you stored a number larger.
