Very good Wingding.
The winning post is great and looks like its 2021 .
Not like the stick one in the game which looks like its 1908.
Bus stop great.
Car Park great.
Trees looks good.
Houses looks up to date now.
Keep up the good work Wingding as your work makes the game a lot better.

Thanks oldpeter.
I'll post more models when time permits.

Btw guys I'm always looking at ways I can make Starters Orders look better and the other day I had a thought about using low poly buildings in a group model with a few key real buildings amongst them to use as a specific city background.
I've never really liked the static background JPEG files in the game by default and even though I had to keep the polygon and faces of the objects to a minimum I still managed to get a pretty good result.
The city CBD I was trying to emulate was Sydney.
Now of course in real life the CBD of Sydney would be located back left of the main grandstand but in this experiment it was far cooler to have the CBD much more visible on the oposite side of the course. LOL!

I'll post images below to show you.
In the game it adds quite a bit of depth as the horses head down the back stretch.

I downloaded some of your files in the old links you had.
Don't know much about sharing files in google.
I log on to my google account and then it says you need to apply for access to download your files.
Hope you can help me.

Hi Oldpeter.
I too am not greatly familiar with posting files for others to download online, I'm usually on the other end trying to receive them.
However I have followed up on your request and worked out how to share my google drive files and now they should be accessible by anyone that uses those links on the forum.
Just try them again mate.
I've also removed those dead links from earlier in the post as they expired 5 days after I uploaded them so I won't be using that service again.

Don't know that there are many players interested in what I'm trying to do with this game ..... graphically.
Personally I can't see Mark in the near future, if ever, moving Starters Orders to a new game engine and that's why I've decided to make the most of what we have now.
Saying that, trying to come up with new 3D models that actually work in the current editor is quite the task as models have to be very restricted in the number of polygons, verticies and faces they have.
So basically nothing really complex has much hope of working unless you can dumb it down a lot without losing too much of its original look.

Anyhow let me know if you still have problems.

Thanks oldpeter.
Glad they worked for you.
Haven't had much time since I posted last to drum up too much new, but I did redesign the stewards tower as I saw one on the Randwick course in real life recently and it didn't look like the one I posted.
Below you can see the one I saw in real life on the left.
The wireframe and textured model I'm currently working on is far more like the real thing and hopefully soon I'll be able to try it in the game.
I know its not exact but I'm fine with that.
If it works out I'll probably post it for download along with some other sydney models including the Sydney City backdrop model and the Sydney Harbour model.

Amoghasiddhi I use the MMD accessory (.X File) Exporter.
It is an extension for Sketchup.
I got it working by placing the files manually in this directory: C:\Users\winso\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2017\SketchUp\Plugins
If done correctly SketchUp will show this additional export option below.

The files can be found here https://github.com/mikunanakusa/MMDExporter

If you install the files and use the extension to export sketchup models to .X format just be warned that the Starters Orders racecourse editor will not accept these files until they are converted to .K3d format using Marks inbuilt convertor.
Also models that have too many polygons/faces and verticies will most likely crash the editor so start off making basic models until you figure out the editors limits.
Good luck!
