What does this mean for breeding status for my stud horse: Breeding status: "Not standing at stud!"?

Oops, never mind. I figured it out.
It seems I had not bought the stud barn yet.
I didn't know it still allowed you to breed with your own mare w/o it, but it does.
I guess they do it in the field.

Oh, you can hand breed in a small paddock quite easily. I can confirm!

What you can't do is impress other owners to board and foal out their mares when you only have a few stalls, lots of pasture and a small barn. Even if did have an apt. in it with 24x7 foaling coverage.
