I have the top Stud (ranked by career earnings) in the breeding barn, and 3 of the top 10, yet not a single AI farm has used any of them for breeding.

Is it just a matter of time and waiting for their offspring with my mares to chart them some offspring career earnings?
Although judging by me horses performance in the online league, maybe the AI knows something I didn't about them.

Also while on the topic: at what age should mares be retired? I had read here that they declines around 13, and I sued to retire them then, but I have one mare who still pops out good foals @16.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah. I have a multiple G1 Derby winner I retired two game years ago. No AI takers. In real life he'd be gold.

But I do see the AI waiting to book after an offspring performs well. The flip of that is if you have a so-so stud and he gets one good performer off a really god mare, you can charge the AI a good fee for the average stud after that!

Lower the stud fee they are way too high I'd say if you put it to $100,000 you will get some takers

if you dont need the money put it to 0 and you will get tons of requests

I like doing this for sires I no longer use but want them to continue there stud career

Thanks Paul. I didn't even know you could adjust the fees.
Got my first bite. Let the cheddar roll in! :)
