I have played over 200 seasons of SO7 and never retained a stable jockey. In that time I have won hundreds of G1 races in the game, both on the flat and over fences.
The reason I bring this up is I have 3 x 2mile chasers, they are closely matched on all theirs bars but one horse always beats the other two horses by a couple of lengths.
I checked the jockeys for their last race and all 3 jockeys had fairly average stats bars, so I wondered if the jockey could make a difference to the results. I went looking and found two jockeys with stats bars almost full, just like this:
The next race, I put an average jockey on the best horse and the two jockeys with the big stats bars on the two other horses. The horse who won the previous races still won, with the other two horses a couple of lenths behind.
So, I am wondering if it is just one horse that is better than the other two, no matter who the jockey is.
Has anyone found the jockey makes a difference?
