SO4 looks absolutely fantastic, especially the jumps and the zooming in and out of the field, love the bends...stunning!!!!!! And the weather effects are absolutely bloody marvellous. I will still play SO3 but not as much as SO4, UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually Colm, when I started thinking about how to improve bends I realised that when tracking the fields from the outside the scrolling needs to both speed up AND reverse when the field hit the corner. Sounds weird until you think about it.

There are plenty of jobs remaining (and some of you have pointed out related issues in the screen shots) but the outstanding stuff is (fingers crossed) all fairly minor so the second week in December is still on the cards. What I can say is that if there were any further delays the game would have to wait until after the Christmas break (for obvious reasons) but right now the second week in December looks good.

Regarding all the other questions time is short and there is little point in getting into some of these right now when the game is due out so soon. I doubt any more screen shots will now be posted until (or at least very close to) release.

mark take your time, release when perfect mate i can wait that bit longer for the game if it is perfect on release. i cant help keep coming on here to view the screen shots im blown away! YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!

Looking at this game now it really is about time a big publisher jumped on board and gave this game the distribution it deserves.

Anyone who enjoys horse racing has just got to get so4 it looks fantastic ,
There is just one problem that really bugged me in so3 and i havent seen anythin on so4 list nor tallked bout in the forum , i follow jockeys alot in horse racing and what i dont see in the game is the likes of tony mccoy ,ruby and richard johnson talkin the big rides in the big races in so3 which they always do in real life but not in so3, same can be said on the flat too id like to see ryan moore on stouts horsess and maybe the jockeys listed always up near the top of the jockeys championship or even jockey ratings , like johnny murtagh has irish jockey chamonship 5 of the last 10 years i really hope this can be added to this excellent game soit will add realism

We can put up with some minor bugs. Just release it soon. We know you will patch any outstanding issues.

At the end of the day, it's really up to Mark when to release the Game, but, Hackett makes sense, so I aggree with you hackett, at least there will be less patches to go through thats for sure.
