Getting Out Of Debt
what is the best way if any of getting out of debt? somehow i have slipped into debt, i have now majorly good horses as yet, i have been breeding and seem to have a few that hack up in C2 but can make the transition to C1. and i dont think they will ever make it to that class, but until then i still need to get out of debt, i just seem to keep slipping further as the seasons go by. i cant buy any brilliant horse that will win me a big purse etc. so any advice someone can give? maybe certain races i should be targeting at lower levels that i can win decent prize money on? i have lowered all my finances and saved around 4k per week, but it is still not enough. my horses that are decent are one of them is 2m1f, 2 are 6f, 1 is 5f, 1 is 1m and one is 1m4?
is there a way to save my finances or am i just screwed?
any advice would be much apreciated.
thanks

Re: Getting Out Of Debt
well save your game b4 this i would then go racing look through races find a winner at decent price write name and race time down
ctrl alt del close all tabs reload so4
back that horse of the boards ew if he dont win or place ctrl alt del and do above again until he wins
its cheating but you are at a desperate stage of the game and you need money quick
or give yourself a loan by using art money( i did a artmoney walkthrough video if you want link)
i have never ran out of money in game but im guessing you will be fired if you go overdrawn for a certain amount of time

Re: Getting Out Of Debt
Betting is an extremely BRILLIANT way of making money. I have made all my money from gambling on the game, follow the top horses and stay away from the handicaps. In my first season I finished on £900k, halfway through the 2nd season and I have £2.2m. I bought a 2yo for 450k also who has just won his bumper, dunno if he will be a star yet though...??
Like you I started with mediocre horses and your not going to make much money from winnings etc.
I don't cheat and although you are in a desperate situation I think I would not cheat and if needs be start a new career.
At the end of my 2nd season I will invest into a breeding barn and get into the wonderful sounding side of breeding this game offers. Right now I love watching top horses racing and following them and betting. Use the comments to follow horses, it's ace.
MY ONLY CONCERN!! - The new game will come out! I'm having too much fun with this one! (can't wait though)

Re: Getting Out Of Debt
no way to change this with artmoney then! thats a shame. i suppose best thing for me to do then is keep breeding and selling until i am in positive money and then have to rebuild from there. im sure there must be a way with artmoney, maybe im just being stupid with it. i will have to have another play with it just after i try twice to minimize my game it freezes my computer and i have to reset it, must be a fault with the game

Re: Getting Out Of Debt
hey guys,
just to say i did manage to get out of debt, last night i decided that i was going to have a plan, i sold all my unrode 2yo's and that got me from -400k to +200k so then i decided i had to boost my finances from there, so i was entering all my decentish horses in C1's and obviously not winning them, then i would enter them in a C4/C3 which it would win and telling jockey to pull up and then entering them in a C4/C5 and pilling all the money onto them to win. i know this may seem like cheating, but i would say plenty of similar stuff will happen in professional horse racing. and now i am set i am upto £5m.

Re: Getting Out Of Debt
It's up to you how to play the game, you can play it like a single player game, improving slowly and making money by fair play. I did it too but sold all my starter horses for getting the breeding barn fast, then buy cheap mares and start to breed, so you get soon horses which you can sell so you can buy all upgrades and breed better horses. Or you play with artmoney or cheat with betting to fasten up things very quickly main reason because you want breed horses for the league. First I started just to play the game to get to know the game better and after some seasons when you have money u can't count I thought about breeding horses which can compete in the league and read everything I could find mainly in this forum here, but horse quality for league depends a little bit of time you could spare for the game, will see if it's right that everyone can win a minor league handicap, will be my first league season. Have fun with your game!
