Hi again,

what do all those Jockey Feedbacks after a race mean?

In this case: "restrained early" - what have I to do now?

Thank you.

The first part of the jockey feedback identifies the jockey's choice of race tactic. "Restrained Early" simply means the horse was held in the second half of the field during the race with the intention of a late finish in the last couple of furlongs.

You can actually chose to enforce a partiicular race tactic from the race page before clicking to watch the race.

Most common tactics are -

-Early Pace
-Race Handy
-Even pace
-slight holdup (which is restrained early)
-hold up

There are other tactical options which you can chose, like "Miss the Break" if you want your horse to sit back in the stalls for a delayed start.

Experiment a bit. :-)

Thank you very much for responding, much appreciated.

Well, that's very interesting, need to figure what all those tactics look like and when to use.

I find "miss the break" kinda weird though; why would I choose that? Only case I can imagine is if you have a rocket horse.
