I have a couple of tff files with 1yo, 2yo, 3yo and breeders that I would like to start with in a new game. Just wondering how do you go about playing a save game that isn't hectic with the scheduling. How many 2yo 5f, 6f, 7-1m2f do you have? I have about 5 decent 5fs but I think it would be counter-intuitive to put them all into the same top races, so how do you go about your season?

It is a long time since I played a non league save but from what I remember, at the start of a new save I never had horses that covered all the different distances. Most saves it was easy to find good sprinters\milers. I then slowly built up to the longer distances through the breeding barn.

As far as placing more than one horse in the same race goes. If that race is the horses best distance then it goes in that race. I remember sometimes having 5 horses in the same race.

At 2yo the majority of horses race best at 5f\6f but as they mature their preferred distance will change at 3yo and sometimes at 4yo.
