Because National Hunt doesn't have apprentice jockeys.

Real NH has got apprentice jockeys so I too would like to see them in SO4.

I would also like to see the use of apprentice jockeys. Also to be able to retain a NH jockey as well as a flat jockey. My fiancée as gone back to SO3, she says what is the point of playing the game when you are heading for a crash.

The game randomly doesn't save all the game info so it can't be loaded. If you enable backups you can copy the backup over the save and continue playing.

Sorry Weeble you are right but surely in SO4 they could be classed under apprentices seeing as most real life stable have a conditional jockey.

I have just remarked that in mixed mode you have some National Hunt only trainers who will retain apprentices... who end up of course with no win out of 0 races.

Also apprentices seem to never lose their 7lb claims nor see it decrease?...
