just changed a couple of .bak files to .sav files, old saves already deleted from load menu, upon loading game the new saves dont show on game menu, i've tried opening them from source with starters orders 4 but all that happens is the game seems to be loading up with the horse/jockey in centre screen.... a few flashes, screen goes black then throws me straight back into the c:\programdata\ menus..... 
any help muchly appreciated!! |

if you are trying to install a backup first copy 1.bak paste it to the desktop you have to rename your 1.bak to 1.sav copy and copy and paste it over the original 1.sav in the saves folder run so4 and you game will now work from he backed up save |

You dont need the original save mate. Should work just renaming the backup save. You must be doing something wrong. You only delete the original. Sav. Dont delete the 3 others save files. o1, in1 & ext1. You need to keep these files. Obviously the number will be different depening on where you have saved your game. |
