Post Bill the Butcher
This is the nickname that seems to have been given to our yard's Head Lad, (though not to his face of course). We have managed to explain to him certain anatomical facts about fillies & mares, but now he seems to have almost every colt in the yard in his sights.

He spends most of the day wandering about muttering to himself and making these awful snecking noises with a giant pair of shears. I suspect that he'd also like to apply them to quite a few jockeys and to be honest we'd all probably just look the other way if he ever got his hands on one.

Anyone else have a nickname for their head lad?

Developments.

Bill now claims that the giant shears are just for the horses tails. We still think it best to keep him locked in The Woodshed at nights though and the lads have given him a new nickname:

"Dick the Dock"
