Are you playing on low spec? No fireworks if so.

You still get the pink & red dots though. Sigh.

Are you running in 1024 x 768 as a minimum resolution?

1. Minimise all applications
2. Right Click on your Desktop
3. Choose "Properties" from the menu that appears
4. When the Display Properties menu opens you should see a tab for "Settings" - Click this
5. You will see a slide bar to enable you to increase the resolution if needed.

If it's still not fitting on the screen, then increase the resolution and that should help your screen display more, so you can use the "full fat" settings within SO4.

Note that if there's a Stewards Enquiry you won't get the fireworks display.
