Sounds as if the game is struggling a bit with your spec. I'll get you the original mouse file to put in. See if we can get to the menu.

Download this - http://uploading.com/files/6mb84f8a/MOUSE.png/

Place it in the gfx folder as before, agree to overwrite existing mouse file and tell me if you can get to the game menu.

wp0.bmp can be found in gfx folder then bd folder and should be near the bottom. Tell me if it's there, it should be and it's unedited so it shouldn't be causing an error.

Do you know what screen resolution your monitor is set to?

(Right click on desktop, properties and then the end tab 'settings')

Open a new game, go to the jockey's button. If you've done it right, you should have 1.Fallon,2.Moore,3.Dettori,4.Spencer,5.Hughes,6.Queally,7.Drowne,8.Hills,9.Fortune,10.Hanagan as the first ten.
and trainer button should start with
1.Bin Suroor,2.Beckett,3.Botti,4.Johnston,5.Cole,6.Candy,7.Hills,8.Gosden,9.Dascombe,10.Cecil

National Hunt pic set
http://www.startersorders.com/phpBB2/vi ... php?t=2432
Problem is, if you want to play a jumps/combined game, you're gonna need to download the original edited names,
http://www.startersorders.com/phpBB2/vi ... php?t=2448
then use Jay's UK jockey and trainer names
www.ohracing.net/so4/myediteddata.zip
plus appropriate portraits to match

as my list is for flat only so has no jumps trainers for Ireland,France and limited UK ones which will crash an attempt to load a jumps game.

JK,

Is this pretty much you want or do you want me to try and get the NHC logo in to?

Yeah could you keep as much of the logos as you can? I saw in paint that you can make text transparent as well. I wonder if it work over the top of the default pic?
