I think too much emphasis is on this start stat. There are way too many horses completely missing the start of ther races. Ive seen so many times now, races where the whole field or the whole field bar maybe one runner that misses the break and its getting pretty annoying. In real life you might see one or two runners slow to get away but this is a bit OTT in my opinion. I hope maybe oneday Mark has a little look at this.

It seems that this happens exclusivley in fillys only races. Typically 80-100% of the runners completely miss the break at the start. I could post a gazillion screenshots of these.
