The way I installed the game (so that I made sure everything went to where it should have done), was to extract the files into my downloads, and then manually cut and pasted the files from within each folder, into the corresponding folder in the SO7 folders. I then deleted the duprlicate courses before extracting them like was explained in the video. I think it is installed as it should be, but without it having a new menu screen, or a specific thing to check etc it’s hard to be 100% sure, so all I can do is just assume that it has been done correctly.

Well that suggests mine might be wrong as I installed it as per v7 instructions to put mods in the mods folder so mine is all there.

 Re: Start It Mod 4.0
Hi lads,
I used to play a lot of S05 & a little bit of S06. Just bought S07. Have installed the game and the latest patch, downloaded the 4.0 files & the 4.01 patch. Copied 4.0 into the into my S07 folder in my program files and then the same with 4.01.
I can start up a flat save no problem but whenever I try to start a jumps the game just crashes and the the S07.exe has to close. I presume the jumps schedule should be available with this mod too. Also, I appreciate all the work you guys put into the different mods and schedules here on the forum, especially mjtags here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

 Re: Start It Mod 4.0
Folodarolo. That has been my pain in attempting to contribute a jumps schedule for StartIt. I added the Irish jumps schedule but the jumps-only schedule does not work. Have you tried the mixed schedule as that has worked?
The reason why the jumps schedule does not work has something to do with the way the stables files are coded up. I have flagged it up to mjtags11 but have not heard back.

 Re: Start It Mod 4.0
I finally invested in SO7 and am now searching for a detailed combined schedule (UK). Are there any out there?

 Re: Start It Mod 4.0
So, Some Updates:
- Finishing up a fully prepped and balanced US schedule. - Figuring out how best to incorporate Bobsworths jumps data. - Working on an Asia centered maingame.
Hoping to get done with all that by beginning of June. Then will be working on graphics and courses. Ultimate goal is for a fully finished SO7 Start It released by the end of August.
I apologize that I'm not on that often. Been busy in life. If you need anything urgently, please email me at mtartaglia11 (at) gmail (dot) com.
Thanks.

 Re: Start It Mod 4.0
Good to know as there really was nothing to explain it all for S07's mod folder. Can I re-install this correctly in the middle of a save game session and not have it impact anything?

I still need to send you my UK jumps data. I can send it to you now or wait until you have integrated the Irish/Euro jumping. One other thing, will your late August update be addressing the crash problem that I was finding with jumps-only schedules?

 Re: Start It Mod 4.0
Bob, you can send me everything now (email preferred). Then I can try and integrate everything at once.
This next update will look to fix the jumps game crash bug - if for some reason I can't, then yes, it is an August update. But I will try to fix for this coming update.

 Re: Start It Mod 4.0
Okay, it's important for S07 users to know that IF they use the mod setup approach (which I'm souring on a bit due to having to continually select the appropriate mod folder EVERY load over being able to set a default for that game slot) that the "courses" and "entities" folders under the 3D folders MUST be copied over both of those from the base game 3D folder and not put in the mods folder. Apparently anything under 3D cannot work under "mods". This apparently came from Mark as I was told by the creator of StartIt.
I installed as per Chris Ormrie's video and that's unfortunately not correct. Doing so will leave you with an install that will not be able to find the courses and then crash upon trying to view a race.

I ran into the same issue and resolved it. Frankly, I'm seriously beginning to wonder if the mod folder approach is the best approach for StartIt. If you go that way you'll need to manually select StartIt as a mod every single load (gets old fast as you forget a lot and end up crashing out). If you install it the old way you avoid that, but then may need to re-install it after an update to the main program. Neither is optimal, but the latter is potentially less annoying.

 Re: Start It Mod 4.0
mjtags11 - did you get my PM with the UK schedules and featured races?
One other thing... I found a slight error on the racecourses.db file from the France folder in my course pack. The Compiegne cross-country entry says Compiegne:cc_jumpscc. It should be Compiegne:cc_jumpsCc.
