MJ,
Did you ever think of adding a version of the Meadowlands with the dirt track?
Thanks for all your help....

Re: Start It 2.23 (New Courses + Racing UK Skin)
I could if you'd like one. I wasn't going to since Meadowlands no longer hosts dirt thoroughbred races, only turf. I was going to add in dirt for when I do the harness tracks, but I will add it in for the next update.

Re: Start It 2.23 (New Courses + Racing UK Skin)
Have some bad news, Courses will be delayed for a long time. The editor is not letting me do anything in Windows 8 so I have no ability to use it to make courses. I will continue to release silks and skins but no courses. However, I will be making courses whenever I have access to my desktop (where the editor works) so while there is a lengthy delay, they will come out... eventually. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I hope this gets ironed out. I much appreciate your tracks.
Had an idea for the Meadowlands infield - A cross and a mound of dirt. Jimmy Hoffa's grave? Maybe a picture of Tony Soprano in the infield too?

Had an idea for the Meadowlands infield - A cross and a mound of dirt. Jimmy Hoffa's grave? Maybe a picture of Tony Soprano in the infield too? I was able to get everything fixed this morning. It will still take longer than usual to make courses since I am using my laptop (which is much smaller than my desktop...) and the little thing called college that is happening now. Whenever I have time I will work on them. It will still take longer than in the past to finish a set of ten, but seeing as there are only a few courses left to do, it shouldn't take too long. And most of the ones remaining are pretty simple to make. And the Sopranos in the infield would be a nice touch! They filmed much of it in nearby Belleville, NJ. Although I don't know how many betters will be cashing tickets with them around haha!

Just want to give the others a look at what you've created. This is Ruidoso. Turf Paradise I love also. Once again great work mj. I hit the ALT button to pause the race for my picture. When I got back to the race it skips automatically to the result with a totally screwed up time. A blistering six furlongs in 1:55.36 / + 42.2

Re: Start It 2.23 (New Courses + Racing UK Skin)
Thanks Sirius! I'm hoping to get the next pack out in the coming weeks, although i have a few things with the editor that need to be ironed out first (textures aren't working). Hopefully I can get back to work soon as there aren't that many US courses left that need to be done. Once they are all done, the US game is gunna ba great! Especially with the listed stakes schedule. And then you'll get the full Cal State Fair Circuit eventually, and even historic Bowie, Hollywood Park, and Hialeah Park. Exciting updates to come after the main courses are all finished.

Re: Start It 2.23 (New Courses + Racing UK Skin)
The Listed Schedule is nearing completion. The moment it is finished, I will test it, make changes, test again, and release. Should be released by the end of the week at the latest (although there is a good chance it will be released later today). Also, courses are still delayed due to the editor problem. I am trying to resolve it. It requires me to not only run the program as admin (which I have been doing) but to make sure that every single SO6 folder is editable, and my computer is not letting me just make the outside folder editable along with all files and folders inside it. I have to go one-by-one. As soon as I have that resolved, I will resume work.

Re: Start It 2.23 (New Courses + Racing UK Skin)
Open up your Starters Order 6 folder in your drive. Open up the first interior folder of the zip file you downloaded. You will see a few folders in there (i.e. 3D, data, gfx) Back Up Your Original Files Then copy and paste the folders you saw from the zip directly into the Starters Orders 6 folder. If you are adding courses, make sure to delete the old folder from the 3d>courses folder or else they will not work in game. Just find the folder with the same name and delete.

Re: Start It 2.23 (New Courses + Racing UK Skin)
Could someone please do me a favor? I need someone to look at the courses I've made and tell me which ones have Floodlights in the model (not in the courses.dat file). I am working on the listed schedule and I know that there are courses that I've made that have them but I forgot to identify them as such in the courses.dat file. If you could, please just comment the list below. Also, the listed schedule beta will be coming out soon (probably today). This is just beta. It will need a lot of testing to see what number is needed for the horse database, as well as if there are any races missing, not working, or mistakenly written (like on turf instead of dirt or at wrong distance). If you would like to help, also comment below. I will also need people to play through a game using it, identifying what years there were low field sizes or if there are many walkovers. I know that the base schedule works nearly perfectly with field sizes as I have only seen a handful of walkovers or 2-4 horse fields in over 17 seasons (only times small fields ever happened were during the races at other tracks Belmont Stakes and Breeders Cup weekends, as well as at some Royal Ascot races and undercard races of the Dubai World Cup, UAE Derby in particular). Thanks in advance for your help, I will post the download link right below this. BETA DOWNLOAD LINK: http://www.mediafire.com/download/j46j6 ... e_BETA.zipDownload link now posted. Everything should work. Report any bugs here. Also, place the schedule data file in your documents>starters orders 6> exports>schedules>2 folder and the showcase file can be placed in your main SO6 data 2 folder (of course rename to match current showcase file).
