Is it possible to add extra horse pictures than the default 7 that can be edited?

I agree, make this happen... That would be wicked... looking at the same seven horses get's very boring... at least make 7 filly pics and 7 colts.

What horse pictures do you mean ? what file/Folder ?

yeah, i have attempted to edit the folder and replaced the original 8 pictures successfully with my own, but when i add others (e.g 8,9,10 etc) they dont work/show up in the game, as if there is only 8 max.

I'd really like to know if this is possible too. I really like having real horse portraits in the game.

Is there a download for these Gray?

Hey Gray,

How do you get all 50 or more of your images to show up in the game. I am only able to edit the default 8 images.

Ultimately I would like all 20 of my horses to have seperate images, just makes it seem more realistic. Right now 10 of them all look the same which is pretty boring.

Download from the link above unzip the folder copy the entire horses folder then click Computer then local C Drive then Program files (x86) then Starters orders 6 the click into your gfx folder then click your portraits folder then paste in to replace the horses folder already there and replace all.

Hey Grey, I tried your download but that still doesn't work. All the images that have a number higher than 7 do not show up in the game. I think to change this it has to be modified in the actual game programming.

You cannot add more pic's as the game stands mark needs to do something to make it happen unfortunately, you can only have 8 pic's but you can edit the 8 pic's you have in your game to what ever pic's you want though.

....and same here. This is something I really wanted since day 1 (and the old commentary back - which we managed to get). Once somebody works out how to get more than the 7 horses to show then I suggest using "The Duke's Horse Portraits" (from SO5) - they are awsome (see below). I can't find the link, but when I do I will post it.

With new patch you can have up to 30 horse portraits now, IF you know how to do it, which I do not.
Anybody going to post a tutorial for this? Please.

Under gfx /portraits/horses you will see 0.jpg 1.jpg 2.jpg etc. up to 7.jpg.
To add a black horse for example, which is 0.jpg add a jpg and name it 0_1.jpg The next black addition
would be 0_2.jpg and so on . DO NOT change the original numbers.
