Latest gameplay:

Finance:

Each stable will have a set monthly charge based on the number of horses in the stable, the quality of staff, and whether a hired help is used.

After careful thought, finances will now be separate from the main game, and will be shown on a player finance page which will be given a link to the stable page.

Ownership

Ownership will be a feature of the league, basically this works by horses being made available to the stable if horses of the same silk colour come up for auction during the season (this will be known through form). For example any horses in the auction carrying the Aga Khans colours previously will be offered to the trainer who has the Aga Khan colours.
These horses will be offered to the trainer with a target attached based on the ability of the horse at the end of each month.
The owner will also have a stud farm within the players breeding barn.
Separate from the trainers breeding, this will have a separate page linked to the breeding barn of the player.
Only horses that have carried the owners colours will be available from the pool of breeding generated by the game. These horses will become part of the owners breeding operation - not the trainers.
New two year olds may be offered to the trainer at the start of the season.
Based on how many targets achieved with horses sent by the owner previously, a player will receive a greater number of two year olds.
A page will be set up showing all targets for the trainer to achieve and whether they have achieved them.
There will be consequences for the trainer not achieving the targets set by the owner, so players will have to analyse whether the target is realistic or not.
These horses will not be made available to other players in the same league, but may be transferred to a jumps stable or abroad if a player has a partnership agreement with another trainer.

This also means that each player will have a vested interest in all 'owners horses'.

Note:
Players will be bidding for silks at the start of the game, money will be deducted from trainer finances

Note:
All none player silk horses will be added to the general sales page along with any unraced two year olds.

More information will be made available on the website in a few weeks.

Jockey/Head Lad Comments Page

This will be linked to the main stable page, and will give the trainer information such as injuries, best trip, or whether a horse needs blinkers/gelding etc.

Help
A help page will be linked to a page for information purposes.

Ideas

We welcome any proposal made by forum members, all ideas will be seriously considered.

Flat & Jumps Leagues Time Scale

Will not be run at the same time, when the flat ends the jumps season will begin.
At this stage we are expecting a full flat season to last two months in real time.
A jumps season will also last approximately two months.

Declarations

Trainers have the opportunity to make monthly declarations from the website fixture list for their stable each week, these will be submitted either Saturday or Sunday using an on-line form or via e-mail.
Horses will be limited to one run in any declaration window.
This means each horse will be allowed a maximum of eight or nine races per season.

I believe the term is 'toys were thrown from pram' when it was requested that all mention of the new league be removed as they didn't want to share this forum with 'other garbage'. I would assume that would explain the lack of news, I could of course be wrong.

I would suggest emailing Steve if you want some more news on this. As the above post said Rivers said he would post no more news on here. Hopefully Steve can tell you where it's going.
