[quote="anubisrich"]I'm in my second season but haven't been given any opportunity to train a 2yo? I'm in October now so I don't think it's going to happen this year...

I was asked to create a new horse straight away then First week in jan you go to your stable and you can create a racehorse you decide either a flat or jumper i have created one flat and one jumper my flat has had one ran and won but maidens are very easy my jumper has not ran yet.

tell the truth i am dissappointed by the game i had hope more people would be playing it online and only 4 in room is not enough i rather it had up to 10 or something.

Whip isn't really that useful just start dash but with whip.

And in January go to your retained stable should be a crate a horse button click it should be simple from there.

Also what's everyone's PS3 ID could do with some races for my beast Chaser Thisthatntoher 106 rated:D

How do you activate Persistency?

Second Wind is also a bit of a weird one, seems to be when i've run out of gas but still whipping. Doesnt always happen though

Second Wind is when you run out of potiental before 200m to go (Rarely lose when this is activated takes you to arounbd 50m to go in the slipstrem thing)

and Persistency i can't remember but might be something to do with hitting the horse with the whip over a certain times in a certain amount of time.(Doesn't do much though)

Just managed to get my 2yo to 99 rating but finding the game very very easy now to win. As in 16th ranked fav winning, just had a 264/1 horse win easy!

What difficulty have you got it on? I've switched to hard and I'll pretty much always win on the 1st-7th favourite unless it's physically impossible. The longer prices are tougher unless you can combo up some abilities.

Jumps racing is very easy though.

What do you get out of doing the quests?

Doing the quests unlock the horses for your library, dont see point in my opinion unless you play battles with friends but Scenario with your own bred is worth it for breeding purposes

How does that work? I've only just got a semi decent 2yo rated 87.

There are scenario challenges, example 1 mile specialist and you have between 5 - 7 races at G1 level at 1 mile and you get points for winning and bonus points for time. If you get 30,000 thats 1st place and it says if you breed off your horse in future example spurt will have a bonus. Only done begginer so far and there are 6 scenarios , NH, middle distance, 1 mile and sprinter. cant think of rest off top of head but l presume if you get a really good horse that can sprint and stay all attributes would get bonus when bred which then makes better horse to train

I tried the NH scenario thingy with Centurian and if you complete all of the challenges and get all of the medals then you can use that horse for breeding. For example I have a 92 rated zebra jumper at the moment who is by Centurian. So if you want good horses quickly it's worth doing. But then the game isn't that hard so one could question the need...

That's pretty useful. I've done the Gold medals for Astrum and a couple of others. There seems to be a 4th medal spot but I've no idea how to get that.

Its platinum, you have to win every race not just get the conditions

Weird, I'm sure I won every race. Definitely did with Centurion, Astrum and Grand Croix.
