If it's anything like the wii one then I'd usually starting winding it up about 800m out on a hold up horse. Try and run out of stamina just in the straight, go into a strong drive with a couple of smacks, change legs then kick on.

Does it still have the create a 2yo thing? I loved riding a beast in a maiden and winning by 10L+

Accepted invite to japan now i'm homesick. The offers i get are rubbish(rating 54-60) and its a regular thing to finish in the bottom 2 despite a perfect ride. This is 1 thing I really like about this version, a perfect ride and still finish last, as it should be if your on a donkey. Jump racing is still a bit too easy, just take the lead 600 from home and you wont get caught. Please can I come back to Europe, I'm homesick and dont like Sushi, please someone tell me you get the chance after completing the season.

Yeah it is a bit of a pikey site, only ordered yesterday. Had full confirmation today and should get it in 3-5 days.

It's basically a website like the Marketplace on Amazon but less tightly regulated, if you go with someone with decent reviews it should be OK (Priceminister keep hold of the money so if you haven't got it in 2 weeks they'll refund you). Came today and been playing since I got in from work. Very similar to G1 jockey although weird to play it on the xbox. I started on normal and i'm winning most races even on outsiders, I like the Revolution thing but it makes the game very easy. Haven't done much jumping.

Where, for the love of god, do they have 5 furlong jumps races?

Jump racing on this game is absolutely mental and terrifying.

I'm in my second season but haven't been given any opportunity to train a 2yo? I'm in October now so I don't think it's going to happen this year...

In terms of abilities I've got most of them I think:

On the straight:

Last To First: use the whip when in last or second last
Stretch Burst: use whip in last 200 yards while 2nd or worse
Grit: use whip while battling next to another horse
Home Turn leader: lead around the final bend
Pack: drive forwards between two horses, also known as suicide charge
Spurt: seems to be when you use the whip very late
Instant impact (?): similar to spurt but when you use it early
On Outside: use whip when widest horse of all

In the race:

Start dash: get a good start, aka the "always win ability"
Free: Race for a period in clear air
Frontrunner: Got it once when i was well clear but never since then

Any others that I've missed?

Free is race in postion not suited by your horse so a hold up horse as a front runner etc

Frontrunner be 6l+ on the pack

I just switched over from europe and it gets easier although the better horses are there, just bred a 91 potential 2yo and saved it when it was unbeaten at 3yo. Did the scenario challenges with it and as long as you get 1st with over 30000 points it unlocks better breeding ability bonuses
