Re: Euro 2012
Backed Germany over a year ago and nothing the other night has changed my mind. You need a team that gets better as the tournament progresses, teams that appear to start perfectly cant iron out their weaknesses. The Germans will get better with every game and have a very nice blend of youth and experience.

Re: Euro 2012
Going to take a wild punt and say holland, on the basis of having reached the world cup final and they lost their opening game which Spain did in the world cup two years ago. Don't really follow international footie much so can't make an educated guess, too busy following the legendary Leeds united!

Re: Euro 2012
Been the Germans for me for a long time, they've got a great bunch coming through and I think they should be mature enough this year to do it.

Re: Euro 2012
Germans seem to be quite popular. No one thinks England then?

Re: Euro 2012
I can't believe that I am the only one who picked Ireland, hard match to start with and things will get easier, may be outsiders but they have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Croatia was the one they had to win and try and scrape a draw in 1 of last 2 games no chance now have to win both games with negotive goal diff

Ireland do not lack heart, they never give up but the first games are normally pretty important think they will struggle now. Opening games are normally the worst games very edgy not wanting to make mistakes, then it starts to get interesting when teams have to go for it, hopefully goals a plenty.

Always find England have more trouble against teams there supposed to beat rather then the ones where they will be up against it.
