Re: Tour De France
Brilliant effort by Team Sky today; Froome winning the stage and Wiggins taking the yelloy jersey. With two time trials still to come, and barring any accidents, you get the feeling that Wiggins will have a fair amount of time in hand over Cadel Evans in the big mountain stages later in the Tour.

Re: Tour De France
One Word......Beautiful.
I hope if Brad struggles this year that they let Froomie have his head not like last years Tour of Spain when they messed up and in the end failed to win.
Go.....Sky.

Re: Tour De France
Evans and Nibali were always likely to be Brad's main challengers, and they're both still in it, but with Brad looking likely to extend his lead after Monday's time trial, someone else is really going to have to attack hard in the Alps or Pyrenees, so it could still be a very interesting Tour. I was impressed by Taaramae yesterday.

Re: Tour De France
Wiggins and Froome monstered that time trial. Evans is going to have to destroy the mountains if he's going to get anywhere near Wiggins (and then there is another time trial)

Re: Tour De France
Na not him
Andy Schleck attacked on the Col du Galibier stage and Evans was forced to drag the pelaton along as no-one wanted to help him.
Don't get me wrong, as a cyclist I think he is great at what he does, he'll always be in the lead bunch of guys and place well but thats only because he sits on the wheel until the final few ks. He'll need to attack on Thursday and he'll need to do it alone, it's going to be interesting to see if he really does

He'll need to attack on Thursday and he'll need to do it alone, it's going to be interesting to see if he really does He attacked for his World Championship and has been known as a much more aggressive rider since then through such performances as his 2010 stage win in the giro on the gravel roads Wiggins is much more of a "wheel suckers" as you call it becuase it gives him much more of an advantage as he can ride at around 460 watts for over an hour which is why SKY rides on the front at such a pace the whole way up the climb. Evans won't attack on thursday climb to the finish suit wiggins too much and as so the pace will be high again and attacks unlikely. Tommorow you may get some attacks on the downhill probably from Nibali off the Columbier or the Richemond but don't expect to see much other then that;)! Ohh and BTW you may get a good price on Thomas Voeckler to the stage tommorow others to watch out for are: Sandy Casar and David Moncutie Bad News Though: Cofidis rider Remy Di Gregorio has been Arrested on suspicion of Doping.
