For any horror book or Heavy metal fans
I am writing reviews on http://www.shvoong.com/, if you like horror books or metal music, i would be really grateful to anyone checking out my reviews and rating them, I have read lots of books and listened to a lot of music, so any support would be great and you can find out which books and albums to check out. Thanks

Embarrassed to admit I'm not much of a book reader. I read a lot of news and commentary on the intertubes though. Music more my thing - what groups do you fancy?

Well, as i'm not working at the moment, i am trying to find ways of making just some money whilst i look for work, I have spent hours and hours listening to random metal bands, my favourite would be avenged sevenfold, trivium, i range from rock like Counting crows to death metal like Job for a cowboy

Re: For any horror book or Heavy metal fans
I like a few metal type bands here and there but if I must admit to a favorite genre it would be the shoegaze of the late 80's and early 90's. I came across an album from a band on youtube that judging from peoples comments were previously classified as black metal. The commenters were complaining that this band were no longer black metal with this album and they weren't worth their time anymore. IMO black metal is virtually unlistenable. What this band had did was adopt the beautiful guitar noises so familiar in shoegaze and mix it with the eardrum popping loudness of black metal forming an amazing sound that is both heavy and calm at the same time. The band is Alcest and the albums name is Souvenirs D'un Autre Monde. This album is an absolute masterpiece. http://youtu.be/exF7Wy2NeyQ
