I know, this is a big ask, and it may seem selfish. But it is something that means a lot to me, and if anyone can help me out a little here, it would be great, I understand that most people are struggling with money, so I just ask if you can donate any money.

Are you serious? Now you want money to travel. Times are tough everywhere. Maybe hold up a cardboard sign on a street corner asking for coin might be more effective?

There are lots of voluntary schemes which you and your girlfriend could sign up for which would allow you to travel to a different country and actually do some good whilst you're there; often they're designed for students too. On most you get full board in exchange for your help, you would then only have to raise money for flights which people may be more inclined to help out with if you were doing a good deed for people/animals who can't help themselves. It might be more life enriching too than backpacking around Europe or whatever is the fashion now.

i would be surprised if you will get 1 penny doing what you are doing,
