Post Controlling the quality of novice hurdles
Hello
I have noticed that in the UK jumps game, the novice hurdlers run in too many races so that, by the time we get to Cheltenham, runners in the Supreme or Ballymore have been campaigned so excessively that it has made the game unrealistic. I have been attempting to control this by prepping the top hurdle races and by putting a cap on the number of wins as a condition for the lesser novice hurdles but this does not seem to work. I have tried to run a 'maxrating' condition for a novice hurdle at Stratford for instance, so that horses set for Cheltenham will not run in it, set as <CONDITION>maxrating=110, but this does not work either.

Is there a way around this? Or, can there be a patch in the game where, for the racetype value 'NOVICE', you can set a rating, like you can for handicaps? Or even if the 'maxrating' condition can start working.

Cheers
