Post Trouble loading SOC
Hi Team,

I bought SOC via Steam.
I just get a black window for a few seconds then it closes. I have followed all the advice in Steam Discussion boards & downloaded latest updates inc firmware for my Video card. I have an Alienware M15 - so hopefully specs are not a problem.
GeForce RTX2060
Resolution is 1920 x 1080.

Advice followed:

Failing to launch at all.

First make sure your video card and audio drivers are up to date.

If that does not help try verifying the installation:

1. Right-click on the game you are trying to fix (in Steam) and select Properties.
2. Switch to Local Files tab and click on Verify Integrity of Game Files.
3. After all the files are successfully validated, Exit Steam.
4. Restart your PC.

Another thing to try is to run the game in ADMIN mode:

1. Find the game you want to launch. Right-click that game, and select Properties.
2. Switch to Local Files tab and tap Browse Local Files.
3. Find the SOC.EXE file, right-click on it, and tap Properties.
4. Switch to Compatibility tab.
5. Check the 'Run this program as Administrator' box.

If that does not help try uninstalling the game on Steam and reinstall.

Help please. Looks like a great game & I am keen to get into it.

Cheers,

Jas

Hi Team - I appear to have solved this.
If you disable sound - load & then re-enable sound - it works fine so far.
Cheers,

Jas
