Why do your ratings have brackets

Why do your ratings have brackets I don't know, presumed all did. What I've noticed is that some horses appear to automatically have a Hurdle/Chase rating despite never racing over jumps.

Re: Highest Rated Flat Horses
Its good to see that its harder to get 140 rating, even after Unferwain unbeaten season it still didn't get 140.

Re: Highest Rated Flat Horses
My story so far in season 6 or 7 cant remember in last 2 season have thrown every 2yo in the barn they all only 75 to 80% max potential in the hope of breeding a full bar horse
This is why i have had no track records or top rated horses for a while

I'm tempted to run Notnowstanley in the Yorkshire Cup/Irish St Leger as a 4yo to see if he will improve on 136. Then again it doesn't sit right running a Triple Crown winner in those races. Timeform would have him on 149 as he would have beaten Frankel. (ahem).

This is why i have had no track records or top rated horses for a while I haven't finished one yet I'm just enjoying the game, plus I cant finish my game until mark's come out with the schedule maker.
