Hey Mark, this feels a little cheeky, but I was just reading about how actual F1 drivers are using the F1 racing games as ways of blowing off steam during shutdowns and thought, hey, is Starters Orders 7 advertising to horse racing fans? Since the official Twitter account is a little bare, I didn't want to @ it, but I'm sure there's plenty of subreddits for horse racing fans and sports betting that would allow a little self-promotion. Hell, it's probably a bit of a reach, but I'd even be reaching out to betting companies and seeing if they'd tweet about the game. I'd be willing to chime in on any posts on Reddit with some customer endorsements and I'm sure other long term players would. |

Actually there have been a couple of fairly recent high profile tweets which do help. People often mention betting companies. The fact is that most betting companies have some kind of virtual racing tie in and wouldn't want to promote something they see as similar (even if it isn't). Most of the Starters Orders purchases probably come from people seeking out a horse racing game. Beyond that I have to be careful as random postings in other communities (or even reddit) may be seen as spam. Horse racing fans (especially those with time on their hands) will hopefully use google or Steam. Thanks for the input. |

I've noticed more people playing SO7 due to the current climate such as lockdowns. But this is not normal times and taking advantage through advertising is not acceptable. Bookmakers have been warned and told to stop advertising and sponsorships. Hopefully the game will remain healthy and gain more attention through boredom and tweets or whatever. Nice to see you do the honourable thing Mark, much respect.

Hey fam, y'all know Starters Orders 7 has been around for a minute, and we need to let people know about it. Especially now, with no horse racing for a while, this game can fill the void for any bettin' enthusiast out there. #SO7FTW So I'm callin' it out, who's willin' to help spread the word? I'm gonna start reachin' out to some betting companies and subreddits for horse racing & sports betting. And I know there are plenty of you on this forum who've been playin' SO7 for years - show some luv and post your customer endorsements!
