It's been a while since we had an update on progress for SO8, maybe some screenshots, something to whet the appetite please. |

Hi,neves_rats, long time no speak. We have started a Discord channel to discuss SO gameplay, similar to that 'my current save' thread you and I opened a year or two ago. See Statsman 1 post on General Discussion board for more details. Just four of us involved at the moment but daily content being posted, and very interesting and immersive already. We hope to grow the community with serious players, all versions of SO, and no doubt leading to a thriving SO8 channel (should that version ever happen). I know you to be a thoughtful player of SO. Join us if you are so inclined -you would be welcome. |

I'm hoping SO8 will have a decent schedule straight out of the box, no asking players to write their own. I think the new UI is also needed, and obviously I'm hoping for big steps forward in gameplay. Although graphics are secondary in a game like this, I still like it to look good, and horses going through running rails isn't a good sight, and the fences and hurdles in NH races are terrible. I'll consider joining the discord group as I'm on there for my simracing groups I'm in. |

I think it would be worth your while to at least give us a look. We are pretty much brand new, but already the discussions are quite involved re gameplay. Significantly all four of us are posting more than once daily. There is no doubt it adds another layer to playing SO - which can be a hard slog with nobody to talk to ! |

I know you're probably busy mark. but, updates for your loyal fanbase would surely be a positive? There are so many games to choose from these days that the Months of silence are noticeable, especially when the PC game is marked for a release later this year. |
