 Re: Start It 2.2
MJ,
Outstanding job on the tracks. Amazing work. The hedges at Saratoga on the turf courses are fantastic. Can't wait for Monmouth Park... Thanks again for all your hard work!!!!!!!!!

 Re: Start It 2.2
meast, The hedges at Saratoga literally made me like a little kid on Christmas every time I watch a turf race there! And Monmouth Park is going to be awesome. I was there on Friday and I took notes on everything that was needed to be added (besides handicapping the race card obviously).

 Re: Start It 2.2
This looks awesome.. I've been looking for instructions on how to successfully install the mod into my game, but haven't found it yet. Do I just download the mod and copy and paste each folder into the game files? Not exactly sure how to do it.
Thanks!
Jeff

 Re: Start It 2.2
Yep, that is exactly how to do it. Once done, just go into the folders of those courses that are affected (list on first post) and delete the redirect file. Sadly there is not way for me to get rid of it through the download.

 Re: Start It 2.2
Thought I did it right, but I guess I didn't. It said it couldn't find the Horse file when I tried opening the game.

 Re: Start It 2.2
Thanks for your help on the instructions, guys.
So, I did all of that. I have the "TVG" ticket and DRF Bets thing on the race page now. The courses seem to be updated.
But, the race schedule seems to be messed up... started playing a new season and there was no Derby or Belmont this year... haha. Any idea how I fix that or why the schedule is screwed up?

Do you need to do re-installs everytime you do a patch?

 Re: Start It 2.2
Just started work on Monmouth Park and I'm trying something new. In order to get more detail (and less rough turns), I patched together an overlay from many very zoomed in Google Map images and then did the course. After doing the course I scaled it to 1 mi (so a scale of 245), and started work on the terrain. The turns are much much much more natural and less rigid. I also can see more detail so I know exactly where everything is, including every bush and tree. I will probably be doing something like this for most courses I do from now on (which will just make them longer to make as it took me about 30 minutes to make the overlay). I will post pictures of it once finished (which may not be for a few days since I am very busy over the next few days... Graduating high school tomorrow, then off to Nashville on Friday, so I won't be able to make courses until I get back the next week).

 Re: Start It 2.2
Just installed 2.2 with SO 6 0.913. The races look wonderful and so far work well, but anytime I attempt a home gallop the game crashes. I'm still in early January and I *believe* I followed the installation instructions properly. Any idea what might be wrong?
Thanks for your help and amazing hard work!

 Re: Start It 2.2
Quite right, atiggerx33... The crashes stopped when I began using dirt home gallops. Thanks for the guidance!
These mods make the game much more enjoyable.
