I'm shaking. My first Triple Crown in my life. And an amazing one. Frank Mirahmadi asked the question, and if American Pharoah didn't answer it in the Arkansas Derby, he did today. He is indeed the Ruler!

Re: Belmont Stakes 2015 Handicapping Competition
There is one thing missing from AP and that is the mystical final quarter( it's my Holy Grail) ,I think the real superstars run under 24 sec's for the final quarter and not many horses have done it.
Ghostzapper 23.64 Cigar 23.91 Secretariat 23.20
The true greats can quicken, lets hope AP will show that turn of foot.

Re: Belmont Stakes 2015 Handicapping Competition
The race unfolded almost exactly how I envisioned it. Perfect front running ride by a great front running jockey. Much like the Derby winning ride he gave War Emblem. Quote: He was give the race, if they had any sense at all they would of taken him on but they left him alone They had sense, if Materiality and Mubtaahij and American Pharoah all were flying up front none of them would have won. Frosted's only hope was for that to happen.

The horse who beat AP in his first start Om ( worst name ever) is running tomorrow in the Affirmed stakes.

The true greats can quicken, lets hope AP will show that turn of foot. No final burst and he had it all his way but the consistency of the fractions was impressive... 24 - 24.4 - 24.4 - 24.2 - 24.2 - 24.2 Maintaining that 24.2 clip for the final 3 quarters going a mile and a half on that deep Belmont dirt is impressive.
