 Re: Start It 2.31
Sure. It is much easier to use then when I first came out with the QH schedule. These files stay separate so there isn't as much replacing and fidgeting with the files.

Re: Start It 2.311 - Opening Day at Del Mar
MJ - What a great job with your new version of Del Mar! I first attended the races there on opening day 1977, when I was 12. I live in L.A., so we took a summer vacation to San Diego for a few days with my dad, step-mother and step-brother...happy memories and the Del Mar visit was the highlight of the trip. Sadly, my step-brother passed away in a car accident last month (he was only 52), so the memories are now bittersweet. I've been thinking of him a lot these days, obviously, and that Del Mar trip definitely comes to the forefront this month.

Re: Start It 2.311 - Opening Day at Del Mar
I'm glad you like my Del Mar. I'm very sorry to hear about your step-brother. I think the greatest part of why racetracks mean so much and leave such lasting memories isn't just about the sport or the excitement, but about the people that you go there with. It is one thing to go to the track to just watch the races, bet, and have a day like that, it is a completely different think when you can tie those moments with people. That is one major reason why I love this sport. I know every year when my family makes a trip to Monmouth Park in September, we choose on race to name after my grandparents. We've only done it for the past few years, but it feels like a long lasting tradition. While it spurs up stories of my grandparents and brings tears to many of my family members eyes, it becomes a moment for all of them to remember. I even got a favorite jockey out of it, Jonathan Zayas. At the time he was an apprentice at Monmouth Park as well as Aqueduct in the winter, although he has now lost the bug. He won the race the first year he ran it. In fact, he won 4 times that day. I still remember my uncle's coworker that came to the races with us (and a very sharp handicapper) was like, "don't bet the bug boy! He has a horrible percentage..." low and behold the jockey earlier in the day we weren't sure of came out on top. It is memories like those that make the races ever so special.

Hey MJ not sure if you're aware but there seems to be a problem with Remmington Park. The whole screen is dark and messed up. It might be something on my end but it's the only track that this has happened. Just giving you a heads up

There is one that floats above the course blocking the camera. As soon as I get time to fix it I will. I'll release the Remington Park update with the next pack.

 Re: Start It 2.311
Hey MJ. Is it somewhat easy to make our own silks. I want to try making some UK silks but don't know where to start. Is there a special site that you use? Thanks

 Re: Start It 2.311
If you are good with a photo editor program (I use Paint.net), then it kinda is. Just need to be creative. I also use Horse Racing Nation for silks. Just create an account and it will let you make a silk for your account. The silk editor can be used as many times as possible and can be saved as png files.

 Re: Start It 2.311
Hey MJ another question. How would i use some of your US silks and transfer them to the UK trainers? Is that possible?

 Re: Start It 2.311
In the trainers.dat file, you will see a 0, (or some number and a comma) under each trainer. Just change that number to the number of the silk (correspond with either the small png silk in the gfx folder or the jockey silk in the 3d folder. So if you wanted silk 172 for Lady Cecil, the trainer.dat would read:
Lady Cecil 172,

Thanks Possibly. I think most of the UK courses have been done. The only one that I am currently planning on doing is Laytown Races, the beach course.
