[quote="ghostzapper74"] Laila Alaiwa 2 - Wowww what a performance from my Half bred, almost won a group 1 over the wrong trip. Hopefully she can win a race for her Dad. I thought there was no way a half bred could challenge in the league but she's been outstanding. quote]
Out of curiosity, what do you mean by half bred?
- A horse with a gamebred sire/2nd gen homebred mare - A horse with a gamebred sire/Any gen homebred mare - A horse with a gamebred sire/gamebred mare
Most of my horses fall into the middle category, I try to stay away from breeding homebred with homebred.

 Re: League Weekly reaction
PC specs - Personally I don't think you need to be going high brow - just something than runs Direct X 11 - a standard mid range graphics card will do the job. So a low to mid range PC will run this game easy. SO6 or a SO7 in the future will be no Battlefield 4 which needs high end graphics and a high speed PC. A modest PC or even laptop will do the job easily.

Most of my horses fall into the middle category, I try to stay away from breeding homebred with homebred. These are what I can half breeds. Half computer and Half mine. I think luck can play a massive part in this game. When I watched him racing the two seasons in game I was amazed by how good Salt Lake was( I've never seen a gamebred like him) and was hoping he would get in the breeding Barn (nothing worse than when a good horse never gets there). Luckily he retired after his 3yo season and I saved that game so I could go back and breed with him and in march last year I threw every horse I could at him but he couldn't give out horses with a full bar at 3 and his off spring were the same so I gave up on him. When the League was going to start this year I decided that one of his off spring was going into my league team ( Good or Bad) and I thought his off spring would be best at 1m6 so I bred my better 1m6 horses with him (only 11 horses came out of him) and Laila Alawi was the best and I thought she was going to be a Ebor at best horse but she's far better than that. But that's only half the story because one day I decided to try those 11 horses over jumps and two of them were far better than every other horse, Moon Madness and Innuendo. Well Innuendo is the mum to Yorkshire Galewho won impressively first time out and Moon Madness who was going in my team at 2 miles over fences( his son took his place Long Engagement won well week 1) has now become a vital part of my breeding team. He's the granddad of Florida Pearl( possibly my best 3m+ Chaser) and just like Moon has a Great turn of foot. And that's why luck can play a part, Salt Lake's become not just the best game bred race horse he's become one of the best stud horses ever in any SO game. And all this since Feb 13 when I knew there was going to be a league and decided to have one of his horses, otherwise he would have just sat there doing nothing.

NHC OLIVER ELLINOUX got my week off to a flyer winning a Grade 3 smartly on debut Clattered the last but kept going to win well. Haffaway ran ok in the Mares Listed hurdle in 4th. Top Spin ran a cracker in 2nd in mares novice maiden chase. High Corrall ran ok in 4th a race he had a good shout at winning though.
All in all a good start to the week first Group/Grade wins in each code
Well done to all the winners and places Huge thanks to the team
Loved the Comms as always
Best of luck for the rest of the week Paul Have u been reading that Sue Magnier novel on how to name a race horse. Ze Lawnmower ( what a terrible name for a horse) should be running in sellers with a name like that

 Re: League Weekly reaction
An Intel I3 and 4Gb RAM would probably suffice though an I5 and 8GB RAM would help futureproof your system if budget allows, the main thing you need though is a decent graphics card. For a PC I would be looking at a minimum of Nvidia GTX 950 or AMD Radeon R9 370 if you're wanting to play on higher settings. For a laptop you want something with a dedicated gpu, imo a nvidia 940m would be the bare minimum. Again, if budget allows go for a GTX 950m or better. Either way integrated graphics just don't cut it for modern games including SO6.
My system has a Skylake I5-6500 cpu and 16GB RAM and using integrated graphics I had to run SO6 on low-medium settings to get playable frame rates.
