Nick Nolte had some plans for another '48 Hrs'It's been 24 years since Nick Nolte's "Another 48 Hrs." bowed in theaters, but considering the franchise craze in Hollywood and Nolte's Oscar
nomination buzz, perhaps there's still hope for his threequel concept.
"I had a story that I think would have really made that sequel work," Nolte told CNN

starred as a police officer and a criminal, respectively, who teamed up to solve a case, and the same concept held for 1990's follow-up.
For part three, Nolte said, "I wanted to be busted out after being thrown off the force, and Eddie [would] get out of prison, and he has
got to figure out who has set me up."
