Re: Monsters!!!!
Better mares is usually the key. Most of my NH horses stay until they die, those I get rid of I usually regret it later. I tend to keep at least 25-30 in stud even if I am breeding them actively or not.
Flat recycles faster as my team is worse and the improvement from the new lot better. But yes regardless of age they have the chance to pass on core stats regardless, for me in manual training that is as they are when they are 2yo’s.

Re: Monsters!!!!
In preparation for losing the title to Leon I am working only on my jumps team. And finally got a large build line in for my national/chase team, am interested to see how they fare, but figure they need a little more cross breeding still.

I've just had a look at my team ( the first time in a month) and it takes me a day to get my head around them and I only breed about 50 or so a season , It would take me a week if I had a massive team like u and leon

Re: Monsters!!!!
It does take a week, usually 7-10 days to do a breeding cycle and in reality as I don’t get 7-10 uninterrupted days in elapsed time it takes weeks to get them ready for trial. 280 in the current one after the 2yo cull, with 210 mares and 22 in the stud. Will probably be about 180 after i cull them again at 7.

Re: Monsters!!!!
It takes me a week to do a season. Especially as I have other things to do. But with about 450-480 exports each season for trials. There is always some improvement somewhere

Re: Monsters!!!!
This is my new favorite jumper in my game. She's won the Gold Cup, Grand National twice among other top class 3m+ chases and she's still only a 7yo. Not had the chance to trail her yet. Very excited about what she could potentially breed and if she is any good in my CK. Yes she's a small build which could pose an issue but she's never fallen yet. Was injured at Aintree and pulled up. I've been really focusing on my 3m+ chases and think i'm on to some good ones. Well they can't get any worse with what's in the league right now.
