   |   Uploaded Novice as OpenHi, I've started uploading my NH stable, but forgot to change a couple of them from open to novice. Is there a way I can change that now please? _________________

   |   Re: Uploaded Novice as OpenI'm going to upload 3-5 horses from my flat save. To help out with numbers, and for random interest.
I know zero about NH, I know its like flat but jumping things haha. Didn't even know there were different types of fences. Guessing they should be novice? and I think someone said aim for huddle races.

Most are 4 yr olds, should I extend any I have in game still out till older?

 Anything else to know?

If they are 4yo they have to be novices or there will be no races for them to go in. 4YO ate eligible for juvenile hurdles and NH flat races which are novice races(they may get into a few handicaps) so need to be uploaded as novices. If you have 5yo and older horses upload them as open as they will have more races to run in. Try and throw some older horses in as you will get a better chance of a win. The 4yo juvenile hurdle division is very competitive but ex flat horses do well but 4yo rarely beat older horses. Remember horses in barn can be returned to racing so if you have any 5yo and upwards you could return them to stable get them fit in a few clicks and upload them if you wanted to test out the fun in the NH. To be honest its a million times more fun than the flat as there is more unpredictability and top trainers horses can fall at any time.

Much more choice of races to enter at 5yo+ Check schedule - http://startersordersonlineleague.com/#/schedule I personally would avoid "Novice Races" taking on the elites on almost equal weights each week is suicidal Horses that run in 4yo ONLY races have to be uploaded as a novice. I am sure there is more pointers that people will add.

   |   Re: Uploaded Novice as OpenIf you’re playing combined you will be wanting them at 6yo+. If it’s a flat game, one or two 4yo’s for the juve hurdles, and 5yo+ for open. If you’re not trialling, look for the following visual clues.
 1 - Enthusiasm over 60%
2 - Average or Good jumping and agility
3 - Good or soft ground preferably

There are others but they are the main ones I would look at without a trial.

   |   Re: Uploaded Novice as OpenFound in my old UK save a few ok 4 yr olds, had turned 5 and not exported. So just put them in. Thought about starting a jumps save, got it loaded, opened it and it felt like a different language.
Did it to help bump up numbers, sure I'll get bored quick. If I win a race.. shame on all of you.
