Technically race should be declared void because horses will have run off their flat abilities and not the jump ones. It is why they finished so strung out as they would have been running off flat stamina. Most 4yo 2 milers are sprinters or at most milers on the flat so in effect it was like running 6f horses over 2 miles on the flat. Been RR a while & never knew you needed the hurdle drop-down as well as type of Race, hence I never explained that to Ash who ran it. I thought weird with gates & I thought I'd check before comms, but of course I got gates as well, so thought just a usual S0 glitch, so continued on, obviously I did not put hurdles in the drop-down either...Doh! Learn something new everyday  |
