More questions relating to the JUJU
Obviously at the start of a new game the quality of the mares you pick up at auctions are pretty bad. Can you afford to be picky here waiting for better mares to show up? Or shall I just ram the breeding barn full (asap) of anything and everything until I have enough mares to breed with every stallion?
Regards the gamebred stallions. After breeding with them once and then trailing the offspring, if no JUJU is found do you ignore that stallion the following year or keep trying year after year? I guess some of it comes back to the potential rating as a yearling? Maybe I've answered my own question there....

The first season you should buy every single mare you can an send them to the barn. breed them with every single stallion in the game you can. This allows you to then get to Dec 19th. Save the game. go an copy that save to somewhere for safe keeping. Then advance it an check the stats of every game stallion in the breeding barn. This is how you find all the best stats you need. Make a note of the stallions with 100% pot. 95+ extra speed, an 65+ cruise burst. These are the ones you need to use when you go back to the point you saved.
That's the first part of it then. You have your stats. You can then get rid of all the mares that have poor stats from the barn, keep the decent looking ones. Breed like mad to get the best stallions stats into mares, but from this point on export every mare an stallion you buy an breed to check for JUJU. If you've found the stats numbers listed above, all you need then is that one horse that beats everything easily in the CK. Then you're pretty much set
