 Re: Word Of Warning
I think a panel should be set up to oversee this. Rich and myself and the person responsible for running the race.
I agree with Rich on this. We should be VERY strict.

 Re: Word Of Warning
Good shout, I will not update the TOM ratings until week 2. edit: Steve the Socialist proposing a panel I think that's a good idea. We need someone who's for light touch regulation and someone who is a rule nazi.

Would make it very difficult otherwise. Thanks

Choose which two distances you want to race over and I will rate the horse on it's best run.
Players should then know it's optimum distance and be fairly rated.
If players run outside of those two distances To me you are trying to gain an unfair advantage and handicap winners will be thrown out. If you want to try a new distance it must be in a group race. By the way. These two distances must be adjacent. Maybe a sticky could be put at the top letting everyone know ASAP. Thanks

 Re: Word Of Warning
Rich and Steve a couple of questions if I may?
If I had a horse who I ran over 7f who was drawn on the wrong side would I then need to run in 8f maiden before the Lincoln? Or I could stick to a 7f handicap and then step up?
And a horse who ran over 1m7 its its maiden, just ran bad in the ck and I know is much better, could it then run over 1m6 in a handicap? Or should it go via a 1m6 maiden? I believe the horse to effective at both trips but does not have the pace for 1m5 and doesn't stay 2m.

 Re: Word Of Warning
That's fine. I thought it would be the case. At least I haven't made any mistakes like last season.
Thanks for your prompt reply, Steve.
Ps hopefully all the new trainers will take note of this.

 Re: Word Of Warning
I think I should be alright with this as my horses don't really run that well at there optimum distances . Although in the second week of maidens I've had to make some changes to make sure all my horses got a run in a maiden. Had to move a 7f to a 1m so I could move a 6f to 7f so I could fit in a 5f horse into a 6f race.
