THIS THREAD IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE QUEEN - PLEASE READ
Important Information
As I see it there are two weeks of maidens.
Choose which two distances you want your horse to race over and I will rate the horse on it's best run.
Players should then know it's optimum distance and be fairly rated.
If players run outside of those two distances to me you are trying to gain an unfair advantage and handicap winners will be thrown out. If you want to try a new distance it must be in a listed/group race.
The two distances must be adjacent.
If your horse has run only once in the maiden races it must stick to that exact distance or run in listed/group racing before a handicap over a new trip.
Any questions please ask.
Steve

I have 3 running in week 2 for their first time at 1f furlong above the optimum so I could fit them all in. No problem though, I'll just pop them in a Listed before dropping back to the optimum in a handicap.

When I need to run them in a Listed, can the Listed be at their optimum or after the Listed drop them back to the optimum for the Handicaps

Anadin wrote: Just checking, 2 runs required to get a handicap mark ????? No you can have one - but that limits your horse to one distance for handicaps. If you have only one run in maiden company and want to try a new trip you will have to run the horse in listed or group race over the new trip before running in a handicap.

When I need to run them in a Listed, can the Listed be at their optimum or after the Listed drop them back to the optimum for the Handicaps Lets say you run your horse over 8f in maiden. It can run in handicap only over 8f. If you then run in listed over 8f you can still only run over 8f. If you then run in listed over say 7f you can then run over both 7f and 8f.

Brilliant, thanks a bunch E P Dub Edit - just thought to myself, I'd probably have a heart attack if 1 somehow got up in a Listed

Bit late now after the first week of maidens has passed, but I can enter a horse that has run in week 1 for a race in week 2, correct?

Cheers, the ones who raced at the wrong distance in week one are now in the correct races for week two. Only buggered me for two horses so I can live with that. Who knows, they may even come good in a listed race?!!

Re: THIS THREAD IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE QUEEN - PLEASE RE
all sounds fair
the only thing is in week 1 i did race some horses 1 furlong outside best distance just to get a run eg 1mile over 1mile1furlong
does this mean that horse has to run at 1m1f in handicaps?
because if i had known that i would have waited til week 2 maidens to get right distance
i think alot of people did what i did with some horses to get a run
did not do it to cheat the handicapper did it to get all mine a run (the Max i could run in week 1) still have 9 unraced for week 2 maidens (will make sure they run at best distance)
