 Week 3 Previews The Flat
Race 6 100,000 Doncaster Shield 1m4f
Apollo Eleven Has twice finished second and will finish strongly late. Will be thereabouts. Bale Unraced colt and this is a tough race for his debut Crackpot Just off them on debut but this demands more. Dance Supreme Out of his depth here. No chance. Deception Found the distance to far last run and badly interfered with on debut. Good each way. Downturn Will need the extra furlong to spark some improvement to feature here. Dreobaccal Making up the numbers. Pass by. Faithful Son Will find it difficult to turn the tables on Apollo Eleven. Man Of Iron Midfield the most likely outcome again Neon Imp Good debut and ground suits again. Neon Nebula Will be better in handicaps Oopsadaisy Tough race for her debut. Unlikely to feature. Pacific Fury Very impressive on debut winning well despite interference Pars La Duex Another duck egg on his form figures beckons. Pkr Disappointing second run but may have the distance and ground unsuitable. Chance on debut run. Rhino Good debut. Will need to improve to beat Tantalie though and ground does not suit as well here Tantalie Won well on debut on unsuitable ground. The one to beat The Hood Just off them both starts.
An interesting race with many classic contenders. Rhino will probably find the ground to quick. Pkr, Deception, Neon Imp and Faithful Son all have chances. Appollo Eleven has finished second twice and must have a strong chance. Pacific Fury won well on debut but Tantalie gets the vote after winning well on unsuitable ground last time out.
Selections 1st) Tantalie 2nd) Appollo Eleven 3rd) Pacific Fury

Re: Week 3 Previews The Flat
Race 13 Coolmore Stayers Stakes 2m2f Listed
Annabay Winner of her maiden race over a furlong shorter than this beating Cinderbluff puts this one in with a great chance. Away Away Good 2nd to Keberax, needs to find a little bit more to reverse the placings, EW chance. Donny Cup 3rd to Troy latest, looks held on that form. Fingal Cove Jamie Taylor knows what it takes to win a race of this calibre and it would be no surprise to see this in the winners enclosure at first time of asking, must be respected. Keberax Took up the running inside final half mile and never looked in any danger, good chance of following up. Mirrormere 4th behind Zygote LTO who was beaten 3L by Keberax previosly, has a lot to find. Near the Start 5th of 9 over 2m4f beaten 7L by Von Jawlensky, will be near the back this time. Power Home Unknown quantity but more likely to power down at the business end of the race. Troy 4th to Sabressa FTO, much improved next time over this trip. Took up the running in what looked like was going to be a slowly run affair and never looked like being caught. One for the shortlist. Washday Blues 5th to Troy beaten 6L, will have to improve to get a place. Yawn Breeding suggests it will need further, so you may fall asleep waiting for it to finish.
Tough one to call but I think Annabay will prevail with the newcomer Fingal Cove grabbing second and Keberax having to settle for third.
