I had a very good day, apart from one disappointing runner.

Flowing 2nd ran a fantastic race in the sprint, didn't think my 3yo sprinters were that good.
Mtoto 3rd to the derdy big boys, love it.
Knights Baroness 1st in the Leger Trial,Wow is all I can say. I'm totally shocked that my middle distance horse's could run so well.
Serious Attitude Ran up to it's best to finish 3rd in 2yo race.
Warrior Queen 4th what a let down, gutted

cracking 1st day at Dubai 3 winners 2 grp 1s and a group 2 didn't expect to win 3 and the one I thought was nailed on got well stuffed!

R1-Wolf Of Silver (1st G2) small field helped ran on really well (stable won this last year)

R2-stay till the end(6th)not good enough lasagne bound

R3-shoot the pot(2nd)fine run done everything expected of him welcome back andy

R4-gas me up(3rd)didn't trial well at this track happy with 3rd will improve

R5-Full blast(3rd) didn't handle the bend lost posi ran well

R6-Fan the flames(4th)well beaten ran too free early didn't pick up

R7-Golden paradise(1st)no run at all on debut made up for that here ran a cracker

R8-Bunil(1st) ran a blinder couldn't be more pleased

well we won the same 2 races as last year but added the 1m 2f showpiece over the moon

3 2nds in dubai. Jalupen Most of mine found their distances either too short or too far. Nevertheless happy with the results.

Especially Linked in Chains coming in 2nd in Dubai World Cup. She will be stepped up in trip now and expecting group 1 success from her.

Thanks. I say dirt specialist because my horses run on the American schedule and 80 to 90 percent of their stakes victories are on dirt. I trialed my older horses at Meydan at the World Cup distance to see who was best with the thought of a go at the World Cup thinking I might have a slight advantage on dirt. Then I saw how weak the Duty Free came up and entered that instead. What a decision! It pays to scope the entries and see how the pace might set up especially when you're a second or third tier trainer like myself.

I hadn't won a race since week 3 of last season after I'd won 5 in two weeks. That was absolutely the most thrilling race for me and am glad to end the losing streak in such grand fashion. First Group one too.

We wont speak of how oddly run the race was run. I cursed the jockey for the terrible start but the glacial pace helped immensely.

Great to see Sirius win his first G1. Given the amount of work you've put in with the added extras - schedule/pics of results I was over the moon! Great improvement in your horses so congrats are definitely due.



I expect Shoot The Pot to reverse this result at some point given how close the margin was at the end! . I pulled out last season's race where Taran won comfortably and that race was won in 1:59:45 with a similar sort of pace in the first 5 furlongs but this time out the winning time was 1:58:90. That's some improvement you've made in your time mate and if that's an across the board improvement.. well I look forward to running against your horses all season!

cheers mate but think im still a shade off most of yours but well pleased to be closing the gap think my older horse are quite good even though they are last seasons cast offs

Thanks AK! High praise from the champ. Afraid I can only dream of having horses of your caliber. I'm sure your worst horse with its back legs tied together can beat my best horse.
