Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
Call the police (6th) - Ran well for a long way before weakening Parsons Fancy (12th) - Outclassed, looks unlikely to win a race this season Makng Champs (7th) - A close 7th, had every chance 2f out but faded slightly at the finish Girl On Fire (12th) - Another who seems to struggling Bang bang bang (6th) - Stayed on well to finish a close 6th. Could well be race for her at some stage Bullfighter (15th) - Best horse in the stable so far but struggled badly off top weight. Hopefully he will return to form next week. Champion Snake (4th) - Ran on well to pick up some prize money. Surprised me. One World (7th) - Looking very good 2f out but faded badly, needs to step back in trip. Jet Lag (11th) - Outclassed again and may well be retired after week 5. Zod Meister (7th) - Doesn't seem to be good enough.
Overall, some decent runs and its a shame so many just missed out on the money.
Well done to all winners and placers today.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
a decent day for me with 1 winner and a few places fondmort (2nd) - bar a slow jump at the last im sure he would have won as he flew up the hill blinding light (1st) - thought he was well in and was right as he held on cleeve way (6th) - okay run, i think this mare has a good handicap in her undertone (8th) - not impressed me so far but could improve yet classic cool (3rd) - trip a bit short, stayed on well, i like this mare and she should win a race or two head mistress (7th) - thought she would run a big race but she was terrible, jockey didnt keep her handy enough downtown abbey (9th) - didnt expect much from her. although she was good last week i dont think shes good enough for league gangland (4th) - solid performance, could pick up a handicap somewhere
well done to all winners

See you tomorrow Thanks Keenan. Brief Gale 1st, only one blunder( this time) early on put her a long last but ran through. Love her running style, get's tailed off and races the last mile. Clever Folly 6th, disappointing again. Lady Rosanna 3rd, not showing on the track what she shows at home. Still think a big run is around the corner. Run And Skip 1st, That's more like it, not far off my best three milers. Pearlyman 1st, Probably the least talented of my team, so to will like that was fantastic. Mystic Music 1st, Will never run over that distance again. Went a mile clear and was running on empty the last furlong. It looks like she loves a slog in the mud and has jumped wonderfully the last twice.

You must of really worked hard on your league team in a matter of months your horse's have improved a ton I think Leon might be hard pushed to hold on to his title good stuff Ghost. Gray

Gray Gray it's lucky I have no life I'm shocked I've had so much success, it proves if u put the time in u can go from last to near the front. A lesson for all the newbies is just keep plodding away and u can get to the front also. My aim and only aim at the start of the season was to try to hold on to my Sun Alliance Novice Chase win at Cheltenham. I thought if I was lucky perhaps i'd make the top ten on the flat and jumps. I'm not interested in winning the Jumps title. I'm going to do what's in the best interest of my horses and just have fun with them. Gray it's all down to u. At the start of August I hadn't bred any jumpers and I wasn't going to ( spending all my time on the flat) until u said I should put in some jumpers and I decided to give it a go. I started my breeding program with jump horses so I've always had jumping pedigree in them. My bumper horses from the first game Daffodil ( never ran in the league) and Jinxy Jack are what started my breeding. Call it lucky or call it a fluke who knows.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
1 Winner 3 Seconds 1 Third
Force Hero wins again, now 3-3. Hated the soft ground but still won well. Never wins by much and is often headed inside the final furlong but has unbelievable battling qualities. A stiff 2 mile or 2 mile 1 will suit. If Force Hero was allowed to take its place in the Champion Hurdle I think it would go very close to winning. There's only so many novice races you can win, need to take on the older horses to see how good it really is. Castaway (2nd) ran a great race in the pertemps qualifier and workforce ran a cracking race in the novice chase, nearly reeled in the leader who was at least 10 lengths clear.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
R1 Show Boat (8th) - Looked decent in trials but has now produced 3 poor efforts. R2 Out For A Walk (7th) - So disappointing after such a good run last week. R3 Miles To Go (8th) - Much better run than placing suggests. Trip was well short of his best. R4 Tunes (3rd) - Jumped really well which kept her in the mix. Good effort. R5 Tuneless Wonder (7th) - Ran like he didn't stay despite finishing a close 2nd over the same distance last time. R6 Tiny Feet (U) - Always behind and struggling before unshipping the jockey. Sharp tracks just don't suit and she never went a yard. In hindsight, she should never have run. R8 Silent Running (2nd) - Got a feeling he is going to be a really frustrating horse this season. R9 Duty Calls (7th) - Barely stays 2m2f, so was never going to last 2m4f.
Well done all winners and placers.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
R2 Humble Pie (3) Finished well and is nicely weighted for handicaps R3 German Spy (5) Carried a huge weight but ran well enough to justify a tilt at the Hennessey where the extra distance will suit R4 Bright Ocean (7) Thereabouts until a mistake destroyed his chances R5 King of Winds (2) Though it might be too far and so it proved will drop in trip after this R6 North by Northwest (10) Found the weight too much to deal with R7 Catherine THe Great (1) Rallied gamely to win R8 Canyon Creek (4) Superb run carrying 12 stone. Distance was too short needs a minimum of 2m5 R9 Turquoise Sky (4) Pushing my luck running a 2miler over 2m4 again and didn't last home will drop back to 2 miles after this
Had as good a day as I could expect with a lot of mine carrying too much weight. Incredible day for Ghostzapper. Nice to see some new strong trainers emerging with Wannabe also looking like he has some good horses
