haven't seen any non runners this week thought G1s were restricted to 16 runners the floret has 18 and the arc 19 have they been run with the full field?

both races were run with full fields.

so what happened to the G1 16 runner rule? have we changed the rules? anyone Know

The rule still stands, as I leave the running of the races entirely up to those doing them, it'll be best waiting for an answer from either of the secs as to why it has happened.

It shouldn't have happened, so can only assume it was down to human error.

I ran the races and apologise for the error. while I remember the maximum runner rule being discussed, I had completely forgotten about it being brought in until I saw your post. I thought it was 14 runners not 16 tbh so would have scratched 2 runners too many if I had remembered.

The league rules really do need to be stickied on the forum again for all trainers. I would also suggest making the rules available as a text file in drop box for the race secs to view or download so that errors like this can be avoided in future.

So in Week 13 G1 Handicaps come to a 16 runner Limit ?

There was no restriction on the G1 handicaps last season only the group 1's.

its a handicap 1st but with G1 status i think 30 is the limit In racebuilder
dont think that will be an issue
