I've tried using windows to unzip it and win zip as well as changing the slot the game goes into and same result each time. Don't know why it won't work no reason why it shouldn't really

Right trying again

here are the files with my 12 best horses from 5f up to 1m6

saved game using default schedule and no add ons so no reason why this should not work

some important bits
1 you need winrar (Free) to unzip the 4 files
2 make sure slot 3 is free in your game recommend unzip the 4 files and extract
them to desktop and then copy and paste
the 4 files into your so6 saves folder
3 if you use these for breeding you will not be allowed to enter the league

Please let me no if you get this working

https://www.mediafire.com/?p1qf5fxjbbi8tw8

Files is only 6mb

if you do get it working let me no how you get on with them

I really like abe lincoln

& Treaty of Rome who was my 1st full bar 3yo

Dash, I got my best saved game in that slot and don't want to lose it after 5 seasons.

Just carefully change the numbers from three to four and it will go into the number four slot. Excellent set of horses if u have mods the game will stop working when you go to a new year but the horses still go into the transfer pool. Thanks I have nothing anywhere near these horses am only in second season though

Just ran a bunch of horses against yours. I have a game bred that was neck and neck at 5f, very close. 6f-1m all yours 1m1f very close again. mine dominate by a few lengths at 1m2 more often. 1m4-1m6 yours again. I do only have horses around 1m2, but I thought I'd have a few 1m and 1m4 run you close, but no. think I need to expand on my distances more. I notice your save plays on easier, is this a common theme? Do you tend to find better horses? I play on harder, I always thought itd perhaps help weed the weak from the strong horses. I know CK is different and you should breed from those, but we all start from game breds.

Only thing setting on harder is less horses and money at start has no bearing on horses or making horses better in simple mate
well glad it worked i will do a few more in the future

Also bear in mind these are my best performers in the CK & not the game I have better in game horses but are no good in ck
i also dont train a horse past 3yo

Yeah I notice a lot of in game run better in ck. it's a shame I can't breed to yours to get some distance in. I'm no too many years in yet though and as I said most are 1m2. I notice a lot of yours were more consistent. I mean mine won 1m2 more often, but it was a different horse that won a lot.

After extracting Pj's files, you should see four files.

3.sav
ext3.sav
ln3.idx
o3.idx

right click on each file individually.

select 'rename' from the context menu. The first part of each file (the text before the .sav or .idx) will become highlighted.

You only want to change the number in each case from three to eight, so use the arrow keys (or mouse) to move the cursor after the number (but before the .sav or .idx). Delete the number 3 only, and then replace with the number 8.

Press enter when done.

The renamed files should now read.

8.sav
ext8.sav
ln8.idx
o8.idx

Copy and paste these files into your SO6 save folder. If you have any saves in slot 8 it will overwrite them!
