Didn't realise I was so stupid but just bought Starters Orders 6 and struggling to understand exactly how to play the game. Downloaded the demo but it seems complicated to me. Are there any down to earth easy instructions for a complete novice out there?

If you start on easy you will have £200k and 5 horses. You need to buy a horse transporter from your stable screen and a possibly another couple of things.

Out of your 5 horses you should have 1 or 2 that are relatively decent. Just start entering them in races using the declaration screen, each horse should have a estimated distance to help you out.

I learned most things through trial and error, have a play and you will soon pick it up.

1 thing ive learned is to take your time with the 2 decent horses you have and towards end of the season enter them in a couple of conditions races and put all your money on them, there normally way to good so youll end up with plenty of money to buy some good 2yos the next season.

Or if you want a quick way to make a few million enter your decent horse in a 5 runner claimed/seller. The other 4 horse should be a huge price. Do as many RF's on the other horses that you can. Use jockey control on your horse and lose on purpose. Hey presto millions in your account.
